Chümoukedima District Archery Association felicitates Nagaland Olympic medallists

Dimapur, Aug. 30 (EMN): The Chümoukedima District Archery Association (CDAA) held a felicitation programme for the archers who won medals during the recently concluded Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2022.

An update stated that Thenuohelie Metha won two silver medals and Vetavolu Rhakho won a silver in the compound category. In the Compound team category, Thenuohelie Metha and Vetavolu Rhakho won the bronze medal.

Thupuvoyi Swuro won silver in the individual recurve category while the team comprising Thupovoyi Swuro, Teisovi Lohe and Vedeta won bronze in team category.

Four archers from the association were also selected to represent the state in the 2nd Northeast Olympics Games 2022 to be held at Meghalaya.  In a short programme, the CDAA also presented cash rewards to the players, it stated.
