Chuchuyimlang village for clean elections

Dimapur, Jan. 16 (EMN): The Chuchuyimlang Village Council has resolved to support a ‘clean and fair’ election in the forthcoming assembly elections in the state.
A late report received through email has announced the decision taken by the village council along with the names and signatures of the 42 council members.
“Supporting the Clean Election call given by the Ao Baptist Arogo Mongdang (ABAM) and the Langpangkong Kaketshir Mongdang (LKM), the below signed Members of the Chuchuyimlang Village Council has decided to have Clean & Fair, inclusive participated Election in Chuchuyimlang Village during the ensuing Election, which decision is made known in the interest of the Public,” stated the press release.
Chuchuyimlang village falls under the Arkakong Assembly Constituency and is currently represented by Nuklutoshi in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly. Another citizen of the village S Chuba Longkumer is also currently a representative in the NLA from Angetyongpang A/C.
The clean election campaign in the Langpangkong range of Mokokchung district of which Chuchuyimlang is also a part of is spearheaded by the Langpangkong Kaketshir Mongdang (Langpangkong students union).
