Chokri Baptist School Chetheba organised Football coaching

Kohima, March 28 (EMN): With the hope to uplift the youngsters in taking keen interest in Football, Chokri Baptist School (CBS), Chetheba Town organised a football coaching for the students at the local ground Chetheba from 21 to 27 March 2017.
The football coaching was aimed to target the students at the age between 12 and 16 years to develop more interest and also uplift the students to take sports with keen interest.According to the organisers, Sports been the essence of students life and football been one of the most popular games and most favourite game in Nagaland, the coaching was being organised to train the promising students in this discipline at the young age.
The head coach was lead by Vekhruto Kezo from Thenyizumi Village who is currently playing for Naga FC and also a former club member of Forerunner FC, Kohima Raider, Dimapur United and Yhome FC
Altogether 30 boys and 12 girls of CBS students enrolled themselves and participated throughout the coaching period.
While interacting with Vekhruto Resu, the coach said that the students had keen interest in football and they always gave their best. He also mentioned that some students can even become a good player who can participate at national and international level if given more preferences in football. He was also proud that the students had learnt adapted to his coaching and had learnt many things in such a short time of training.
The headmaster of the school expressed words of gratitude to the coach for sparing his valuable and helping the students. He also said that such training will be organised in near future again.
