Chingwang Konyak, Apong Pongener appointed political advisors to CM

DIMAPUR — Nagaland government has appointed Chingwang Konyak and Apong Pongener as advisors (political) to the chief minister in the status of Cabinet ministers, according to a notification issued by the Cabinet Secretariat on November 27. The appointments take effect immediately.

The notification also stated that the earlier appointment of Chingwang Konyak as chairman of People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA coordination committee, which carried the status of a Cabinet minister, has been revoked with immediate effect.
