DIMAPUR — Bright Lights, a children and teen choir from Dimapur, returned to the state after a performance at Laitkor in Shillong.

According to a press release, the event celebrated the culture of the Northeast and was hosted by Lieutenant General Pradeep Chandran Nair, AVSM, YSM. It was attended by officers, soldiers, and their families from the police, army, air force, Assam Rifles, and the Central Armed Police Forces.

“Bright Lights Children's Choir, one of the country's finest children’s choirs, has been balancing a tight schedule of performances, taking music to the world,” it read, adding that it performed shows in Bangkok, Vietnam, and numerous venues within the country.

Mentored by Bethel Tsuzu, an accomplished pianist and musician, the Bright Lights choir is a flagship of TaFMA (Task Force for Music and Arts).
