‘Childline Se Dosti’ campaign concludes

[caption id="attachment_282814" align="alignnone" width="565"] Officials from Childline Kohima along with the deputy commissioner, Kohima, and other officials at the conclusion of ‘Childline Se Dosti’ campaign on November 14.[/caption] Dimapur, Nov. 15 (EMN): A week-long ‘Childline Se Dosti’ campaign organised by Childline Kohima concluded on November 14 with a programme held in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner, Kohima, wherein the DC Gregory Thejawelie Sote and his officers were administered the ‘Dosti pledge’ and accepted ‘Dosti band’ to support Childline Kohima. As part of the campaign, Childline Kohima conducted a series of activities which included awareness on Childline 1098, Dosti pledge and tying of Dosti band to healthcare service providers, drawing competition with the children from Children’s Home, special talk on All India Radio (AIR), informed Childline Kohima in a press release. ‘Childline Se Dosti’ campaign is a week-long national campaign carried out by Childline across the country to extend invitation to every concerned citizen to become a friend of Childline in helping children in need of care and protection and to reach out to people from all walks of life to sensitised them on the cause of children and to do their bit towards making the city a safer place for children. Meanwhile, the Childline Kohima has appreciated the support and cooperation of the deputy commissioner, Kohima, chief medical officer (CMO), Kohima, senior medical officers, medical officers and staff of urban primary health centres (UPHCs), community health centres (CHCs), primary health centrs (PHCs) and sub-centres, coordinator of Spartan Open Children Home and medias for making the campaign a success.
