Dimapur, July 19 (EMN): Childline Dimapur in its attempt to reach out to the community with the message of child rights has managed to reach out to the children and adults through the support of the churches.
With the invitation from Sumi Baptist Church Padumpukhuri, Mao Baptist church Kuda, Police Baptist church and Grace Covenant Church, the Childline team participated in VBS camp, summer camp and children festival.
In the camps, the team spoke on Childline and its activities, services provided and on how to work together to make our state a better place for all the children, children growing up in the complicated world, knowing how to make good use of the rights, facilities and opportunities according to the will of God, children from the Christian perspective basing on Matthew 18. The team also attended session and other activities.
Meanwhile, Childline Dimapur thanked the Churches for the platform provided to the team and look forward to work with the churches in future.
