Dimapur, March 17 (EMN): Childline Dimapur observed its 10th anniversary in the office of the deputy commissioner, Dimapur, on March 16.
Speaking on the occasion, the Childline nodal director, Subonenba Longkumer, congratulated the Childline team for their relentless spirit to ‘fight the good fight and a long road of difficulties and challenges,’ which according to him, was worthy of the battle for the future and for the lives of the children. He also encouraged and motivated the team and the gathering by sharing the improved version of Juvenile Justice Act and the mechanism it would enhance justice and service towards the issue.

He also highlighted on the significant initiatives and achievements made by Childline Dimapur during its journey of 10 years and expressed gratitude to the district administration headed by the deputy commissioner, line departments and all the stakeholders for their continuous support towards Childline in all its endeavours, an update from Childline Dimapur stated on Tuesday.
To mark the occasion, a music video titled “Moi ke Hunibi” composed and sung by Sunep Lemtur was released by Nukshimatong, EAC Dimapur. In a brief speech, the officer expressed appreciation for the commendable works undertaken by the Childline Dimapur in addressing the issues confronting the children and other vulnerable sections of the society. He further assured all possible assistance from the district administration towards the Childline Dimapur in their noble works even in the days to come.
Report also stated that children from Open Shelter CECS, Dimapur, presented a song on the occasion. The vote of thanks was delivered by K Ela, director Childline Dimapur. She also thanked the Childline team for their continuous service and action towards the welfare of the children.
