Dimapur, April 29 (EMN):
Childline Dimapur, a child support organisation, is giving citizens an opportunity to share some positivity by organising a ‘family happy-moment’ contest. People of all ages can participate in the contest by sharing their ‘memorable moments’ with their families.

Speaking to Eastern Mirror, a member of Childline Dimapur Alomi Muru said that the main aim behind organising the contest was to engage the children and families into doing something productive instead of staying idle at home.

‘It’s more like a beautiful recreation as people take turns in sharing a memorable moment of their family, and we all connect with them through the story,’ said Muru. At the same time, Muru said the contest was also organised to promote Childline Dimapur so that ‘people will come to know that there is a helpline service for children who are in need of care and protection.’

She informed that the contest, which officially started on April 25, will wait for willing participants till May 5, after which the results will be declared. She added that five best participants will be judged as winners of the contest, and the prizes will be given out post lockdown accordingly.

‘It’s very simple. All they have to do is follow the @childlinedimapurofficial page on Instagram, and anyone will know what to do next by following the guidelines set up on the page,’ said Muru.

According to her, the response and number of participants at the moment was encouraging and positive. She added that they were still hoping for more participation from every corner of Dimapur.

It may be mentioned that Childline Dimapur is an organisation that provides 24×7 outreach service for all children in need of care and protection.
