Dimapur, March 16 (EMN): Childline Dimapur observed its 11th anniversary at CCI Prodigals’ Home on Wednesday along with the children of the shelter home of CECS and Prodigals Home, CWC and Police.
Childline volunteer Katoli shared her experience working with children, an update said. She stated that working with Childline had made her ensure that the ‘weak and vulnerable are loved and protected.’
Marking the occasion, Subonenba Longkumer, nodal director Childline, congratulated the team and acknowledged the presence of police and CWC members. He reminded the need for networking and its importance in the present generation. He further encouraged and motivated the gathering to work and support one another as a team, bringing solution to issues, sustaining the network and reaffirming its commitment for the cause of children.
Takotoba Jamir, chairperson of CWC, lauded the team for its visibility in the district and encouraged the team to do better.
It stated that Wati Imsong, pastor of Grace to Glory Church, blessed the programme with a prayer, which was followed by a cake cutting ceremony.
