Kohima, Aug. 27 (EMN):
Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and his Assamese counterpart Himanta Biswa Sarma had a "political level" meeting on Friday and discussed several matters, including political alliance.

Rio took to Twitter to inform that they “discussed on various party affairs of the pre-poll alliance partners”.

He was accompanied by Minister of Agriculture and Cooperation G Kaito Aye, Minister of Public Health Engineering department, Jacob Zhimomi, and Advisor of Prison, Printing and Stationery, H Haiying.

Sarma also tweeted about the meeting with Rio and his cabinet colleagues. “Discussed several issues of mutual interest between the two states. Besides, we also discussed various political matters concerning our alliance,” he wrote.
