Dimapur, April 27 (EMN): Minister of Forest and Climate Change and Parliamentary Affairs CM Chang said at this juncture,‘people should forget about political party differences and work together in a cohesive manner and with a shared vision for solving common problems and bring development.’
Calling upon the people of the 51-Noksen assembly constituency during a thanksgiving programme, the minister said ‘rather concentrating on individual gains, one should think of the bigger picture and work together for overall area and community development.
A thanksgiving programme was conducted at Noksen village on April 21. Press releases received on Thursday informed.
In his greetings, the minister expressed his heartfelt thanks to the voters for re-electing him to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
Some of the examples he cited were upgrading existing schools and building new ones, improving road connectivity, economic development, building hospitals, and obtaining reliable and clean sources of water supply.
The minister also urged the people to uphold the current government in their prayers, and to always put God first so as to stay headed in the right direction.
