Dimapur, May 10 (EMN): On account of 4th ENWO general conference and 3rd YWO general conference, slated to be held at Chessore village under Tuensang district on May 17 and 18 respectively, the Chessore Village Council (CVC) has unanimously resolved that no political party, individual or group shall not be allowed to campaign, propagate or organise political related program in any manner at Chessore village and within Chessore area jurisdiction till the aforesaid occasion are peacefully completed.
The council also cautioned that stern action will be taken against defaulters or any person attempting to act in contravention to the resolution.
CVC stated that the resolution has been necessitated in interest of the concerned and for successful conduct of the said occasion, as precautionary measured by taking the cognizance of previous instances of some individuals and groups who acted irresponsibly taking advantage over such social gatherings and thereby adversely vitiated the fundamental objectives of many important programs and occasions.
Further, the council seeks cooperation of the administration and all neighbouring villages and town to extent all possible help.
