Dimapur, June 6 (EMN): Three newly constructed prefabricated hospital units at Community Health Centre Aboi were inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner of Mon Thavaseelan K on Monday.
The units were sponsored by the American India Foundation and implemented by Modulus Housing through the initiative of district administration Mon.
An update from DIPR stated that the dedicatory prayer was led by Pastor C H Mongnyei (Pastor Aboi Town Fellowship). The formal programme was chaired by Dr. Neiphrezo Soriinuo, SMO in charge of CHC Aboi while the welcome address was given by Chumlamo Humtsoe, ADC and HCMC Chairman.
A special song was presented by the Aboi Town Baptist Church Youth Department and short speeches were given by Dr. Shasinle (DPO Mon-UIP/RCH) and the President of the Konyak Union Aboi unit on behalf of the civil societies.
Free masks were distributed to all the wards and villages, which were funded by the ACT Grants. ACT Grants had donated 5.6 lakh masks to Mon district so that each citizen gets two free masks, it stated.
