Dimapur, Dec. 7 (EMN): The department of Youth Resources and Sports organised a tug-of-war at the Main Arena, Kisama, on Wednesday.
In the men’s category, the Chakhesang cultural troupe defeated Garo tribe 2-0, and in the women’s category, the Rengma cultural troupe defeated Kuki tribe, a DIPR report stated.
The quarter final and final matches will be played on December 8, right after the cultural presentation, in the morning session. The first and second prize winners will be awarded INR 15000 and INR 10000 respectively.
