Inaugurating the fine dining restaurant at P Khel on December 11 in Kohima village, Kikrusetuo John Pienyu, managing director of Ch.Ai Group and Arintin Ventures Pvt. Ltd., informed about how they started a small kitchen called “Ch.Ai Cloud Kitchen” to deliver fast food and snacks to the people working at the Secretariat in Kohima.

With the success of the venture, the group decided to create a fine dining experience that was “inspired by some of the finest restaurants in the world”.

“Ch.Ai” means different things for different people. Some people start their day with a cup of ‘chai,’ while others end their day with it and for some it is an emotion, said Pienyu. “Chai is not just tea, but Ch.Ai stands for our aspiration to bring the finest dining experience to Nagaland,” he added.

“Set in picturesque Kohima village, we promise to make our patrons forget their problems and worries and lose themselves in the natural beauty of the countryside,” he said and acknowledged his friends in the group for working together as partners to create “Ch.Ai group.”

“We as a group/partners take care of all the value chain in our startups whether it be delivery, cooking, packaging. End to end solution is what we aim for, we don’t outsource anything. We know at the end, passion, the time and energy we put in is all that matters. And we have worked together as partners to create Ch.Ai Group, Ch.Ai Cloud Kitchen, Ch.Ai Fine Dining, Arintin Ventures Private Ltd. It’s a milestone for us to open our fine dining restaurant but we know it’s not the end goal,” the group informed.
