An order issued by the CFMG/ CFSB chairman on Thursday stated that a criminal case has been registered at Diphupar Police Station, Chümoukedima, under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Nagaland Security Regulations in connection with the incident.
As per the preliminary police enquiry, the seven cadres identified are H Kiba (Special Ceasefire Identity Card No. 58), Lovito Yeptho (Card No. 63), Viniho Kiho (Card No. 100), Vika Chophy (Card No. 07), Issak Rochill, Hukhevi Yeptho and Khuluto.
“Besides these cadres, other members of the group named in the media and widely circulated are also subject to investigation,” the order stated.

The CFMG/ CFSB impressed upon the group to hand over the seven accused, who are suspected to be taking shelter at the CFSB office in Thilixu village, to the police for further necessary action. It further stated that if the cadres are outside the CFSB office and evading arrest, the group should ensure that they immediately present themselves before the police for investigation.
The order also cancelled with immediate effect the Special Ceasefire Identity Cards of four of the accused — H Kiba, Lovito Yeptho, Viniho Kiho and Vika Chophy.
