DIMAPUR — The Central Executive Council of Nagaland University Teachers’ Association (CEC NUTA) has expressed anguish over the action of some people, wherein a senior professor and Pro-Vice Chancellor (PVC) of Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, was reportedly waylaid, harassed and threatened with dire consequences if he “ever set foot or cross their boundary,” on October 16.
‘Such deplorable behaviour has not only hurt the sentiment of the teaching faculty of the university but has also totally disturbed the academic environment in all the four campuses,’ stated CEC NUTA.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]Condemning the ‘reprehensible action’, the association urged upon the competent authority to look into the matter at the earliest, so that such unwarranted incident does not occur again in the near future.
