CEC launches centre in Mokokchung

MOKOKCHUNG —  The Computer Education Centre (CEC) has launched its branch office in Mokokchung town located at Toshikaba Ki, opposite to Nayara Petrol Pump Sewak Gate in Mongsenbai ward, Mokokchung.

The centre aims to provide a diploma in computer application (DCA) course for 6 months with a course fee of INR 6000. It has a total of 30 computers, all equipped with internet connectivity via Wi-Fi network.

Takowati, pastor of Ungma Baptist Church, inaugurated the centre and delivered a dedicatory prayer. He emphasised the importance of certified computer training, noting its relevance in competitive exams and professional development especially for individuals with diverse educational backgrounds.

The two proprietors namely Zulumanen Jamir and Shiluzenba Imsong, both from Ungma village, were commended for their initiative in establishing the centre. They were encouraged to maintain trustworthiness and diligence in their endeavour.

Speaking at the programme, Zulumanen Jamir, stressed on the need for such a centre despite existing of several centres in the main town offering computer courses. He mentioned that they have initiated the measures after considering the suitability and advantages of its location.

Zulumanen Jamir, 32 years old entrepreneur from Ungma village who has completed his Master’s in Geography from Nagaland University, Lumami, and Shiluzenba Imsong spoke on the occasion.
