DIMAPUR — The third day of the ongoing golden jubilee celebration of the Council of Chakhesang Christian Revival Churches (CCCRC) was held on Sunday at the Multi Purpose Hall, Thenyizu, on the theme ‘Great is Thy Faithfulness’.

The Sunday jubilee service was led by Rev. Zaseyi Veswüh, chairman of CCCRC, while Rev. Vekhohü Dawhuo invoked God’s blessings, an update stated.

Addressing the congregation, the speaker, Rev. Dr. Imchayanger, mission secretary, Nagaland Christian Revival Churches (NCRC), said that whoever believes in Him (God) will receive the living water that flows out from His inner being.

Every person who drinks the springs of water will have eternal life, he said and elaborated on how the springs of living water are different from rivers of water—one speaks about salvation and the other speaks about the Holy Spirit.

Rev. David Koza, executive secretary of CCCRC, conducted the pledge of CCCRC, which was declared before God during the jubilee. The pledge read that the CCCRC will always believe in the Trinity and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

It also read that the council shall continue to do missionary work and reach the unreached in every possible way. Further, the council pledged to let every church have the zeal to send at least one missionary or take part in sponsoring missionaries.

A special prayer for the people of Manipur was also observed.

Commemorating the event, Rev. D Vangpong Phom, president of NCRC, released the jubilee souvenir and memento and delivered the jubilee message.

On behalf of the NCRC, he invited every well-wisher and revivalist to come and attend the upcoming celebration of the Nagaland Christian Revival Churches convention, which will be held from December 1 to 3 in Dimapur. Revival churches need revival and to work together to fulfil the great commission, he added.

Pastor Victor Ogbe of Christ Embassy Church, Nigeria, was the speaker in the evening programme.

The programme was led by Kevisilie, pastor of CRC Bor Lengri, and ended with a mass prayer.
