DIMAPUR — The Chümoukedima Circle Chakhroma Public Organisation (CCCPO) has reiterated its stand of 'one government-one tax' under its jurisdiction and mentioned that various national groups have been demanding various taxes from villages and business establishments under its jurisdiction and have been causing undue harassment to the leaders of the villages.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]In a press note, the CCCPO said that it held an executive meeting on August 3 and reiterated its stand, which was passed by the Naga people on October 31, 2013. It also mentioned that the organisation comprises 17 villages under Chümoukedima district.
It further asked the national groups not to indulge in demeaning activities but instead to focus on uniting with each other for an amicable political solution.
