KOHIMA — The Children Ministry of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima (CBCK) observed World Sunday School Day-cum-graduation day on the theme ‘Nurturing the light of the world’ (Deuteronomy 6:2), on November 5.
A total of 98 Sunday school children graduated to the youth ministry this year, an update stated.
Rev. Vikuo Rhi, pastor of CBCK, pronounced dedicatory prayer and also awarded certificates to the graduating Sunday school children.
Jodovelii Shijo, assistant superintendent of children ministry was the speaker of the graduation ceremony.
Chinehiilii Rhakho, former director, children and education department, Chakhesang Baptist Church Council, was the speaker during the morning service.
Rev. Dr. Kevekhalo Lasuh, senior pastor of CBCK, pronounced pastoral prayer, while the secretary’s report was given by Wekhrope Akami.
