EMN Dimapur, September 7 India Northeast tribal Community Welfare Society recently conducted a free “career-oriented educational seminar” in the MGM higher secondary school. The seminar was organized under the aegis of Libra Consultancy’s educational wing, on September 7 for arts and science students. The seminar gave an opportunity to students to evaluate their career choices basing on their personal interests, skills and values, a note from the organization received here today said. Resource person Aheno briefed the students on the many career opportunities available to them. She highlighted to the students that there is a “great need” for them to keep abreast with new and changing career options. The reason is that the nature and demands in the employment areas are changing, she said. Further, the resource person stated that systematic and correct career planning at the right stage will go a long way in securing jobs according to interests of each individual. It would also give them professional satisfaction, Aheno stated. 250 students attended.
