Students are seen attending the career guidance-cum-orientation programme on the occasion of 75th anniversary of Peren township on April 30.

Dimapur, May 1 (EMN): Commemorating the 75th anniversary of Peren township, Peren Town Youth Organisation (PTYO) and 25 Assam Rifles jointly conducted a career guidance cum orientation for students at Peren town hall on April 30.

An update from PTYO stated that the secretary of SSB, B Henok Buchem; 2nd in-charge of 25 Assam Rifles Lt. Col. Atong Konyak; EAC of Peren, Seyievilie Pfukri;  and operation manager of Emporium Skill Training Institute, Anurban Mukerjee; were the resource persons of the programme.

It stated that the deputy director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences, Dr. Ilang, spoke on how to become successful in life and advised the students to imbibe work culture stating that every little effort could lead to a successful life.

A powerpoint presentation was made by Lt. Col. Atong Konyak, while the EAC of Peren, Seyievilie spoke on National Defence Academy (NDA), Combined Defence Service Exam (CBSE) and technical professionalism etc and a speech on entrepreneurship was presented by Ididaule Ngia, Asia’s youngest diamond director, Oriflame.

The ADC of Peren, Keyirangding Hegui, delivered the vote of thanks.

Report stated that more than 300 students from Government Higher Secondary School, Peren; Baptist Higher Secondary School, Peren; All Saints Higher Secondary School, Peren; and Government College, Peren; attended the programme.
