For the 50 years anniversary celebration of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Special Secretary, NLA, A.E. Lotha has informed all the invitees, Ex-IBMs, Ex-MLAs, Ex-MP, AHODs, HODs, delegates and family members of Ex-IBMs, Ex-MLAs, press and media to collect the car pass from reception counter at the Main Gate from November 26 onwards. Lotha in a press release, informed that no vehicles without car pass issued by the Assembly Secretariat will be allowed to enter the main gate. Vehicles with car pass 1 (VVIPs) will enter through Gate I and vehicles with car pass 2 (VIPs) will be parked near the legislators Home entrance gate. Vehicles with car pass 3 (AHODs/HODs, press and media) and 4 (assembly secretariat officers and staff) will be parked inside the Gate II.
Further, for all those who could not obtain the car pass can collect from the reception counter at the Main Gate on November 29 by producing relevant ID cards or other supporting documents.
Special Secretary Lotha has requested all the invitees, Ex-IBMs, Ex-MLAs, Tribal HOHOs and all the political parties to attend the celebration. Invitation cards and programmes for all the invitees have been dispatched to all the respective DCs of the district headquarters. However, those who have not received the invitations can collect it from the control room at the assembly secretariat on any working day. Security pass for media coverage of PM’s visit
Mediapersons have been informed to submit applications to the Director, IPR, for obtaining security passes to cover the Prime Minister’s visit on December 1 during Hornbill Festival 2014. The security passes will be issued only to mediapersons accredited with the Central Government and State Government. The applications should reach the office of the Directorate of Information & Public Relations on or before November 26 for onward submission to the concerned authority.
Media informed
Mediapersons desiring to cover Hornbill Festival 2014 have been informed to submit application to the Director IPR, for availing media passes and car passes. The application should be supported with ID cards. They should also furnish vehicle numbers for required passes. Last date for submission of application will be on November 26.
