Capt. N Kenguruse tourney: Wins for Tyrants, Kingsmen, Tiema Khe

KOHIMA — The ongoing Captain N Kenguruse, MVC Memorial Football Tournament at Jakhama Local Ground on Wednesday witnessed three teams, Tyrants FC, Kingsmen Tsiesema, and Tiema Khe (Kidima), advancing after winning their respective matches in the quarterfinals.

In the opening match, Tyrants FC emerged victorious against Phesama Youth Organisation with a 6-5 win in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw at the end of regular play.

The quarterfinal match between Kingsmen Tsiesema and Viswemi FC concluded with Kingsmen Tsiesema securing a 1-0 victory over Viswemi FC.

Tiema Khe (Kidima) advanced to the next round after defeating Jakhama Youth Organisation 2-1 in the last quarterfinal match.
