DIMAPUR — Canon, a Singapore-based world leader in imaging technologies, conducted a workshop on advanced photography and the benefits of mirrorless technology at Hipfest gallery in Kisama on Sunday.

A DIPR report stated that Canon imparted knowledge on advanced photography and the benefits of mirror-less technology. The event covered various topics including technical aspects of mirror-less technology, challenges faced in the field, and question and answer session with enthusiastic participants.

Key highlights of the workshop included discussions on Canon cameras, insights into the intricacies of mirror-less technology and the evolving landscape of DSLR advancements. It stated that the training saw active participation from the photographers, wherein questions relating to cameras, photography fundamentals and the latest in mirror-less technology were discussed.

The Canon team comprised of Subhajit, senior territory manager; Aninod Basu, mentor; and Bandeep Khound, sales support officer.

The workshop was conducted by Canon in collaboration with Portrait Studio and Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR).

Participants of the workshop included members from the Photography Club Kohima, photography enthusiasts, freelance photographers, HIP Fest members, and other individuals.
