Dimapur, Dec. 21 (EMN): Catholic Association of Nagaland (CAN) has conveyed Christmas greetings to all the Catholic families and the people of Nagaland. It stated that Christmas is the time to be grateful for the priceless gift, God has given to the world.

CAN have prayed for inner joys upon all the families and urged every believer to become a reflection of God’s love in sharing, loving and praying for neighbours, friends and for each other.

As the Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted every fabric of the society, it stated this year Christmas would be an extra-ordinary celebration during an extra-ordinary time. In view of the prevailing pandemic circumstances, it appealed to make this Christmas 2020 a special and meaningful celebration-- a celebration of the priceless gift of love divine with friends and neighbours.

It urged to do incredible and noble acts for others, neighbours and those who are less privileged not for self-satisfaction but for the glory and love of God alone. CAN made this appeal as the coronavirus pandemic has imposed a harsh reality of bereavement, illness, and economical unemployment, while many people are already facing financial hardship and uncertainty over future prospects.

It also wished that this season brings happiness, peace and divine protection of all the families during these unprecedented times.
