DIMAPUR — A mega camp for the settlement of unclaimed financial assets under Kohima district Phase 4 was held at the DC conference hall, Kohima, on November 14.
According to a DIPR report, the initiative aligns with the government’s vision of financial inclusion and citizen empowerment.
The Union Finance Minister launched the nationwide campaign (Your Money, Your Right) on October 4, 2025, a three-month campaign (October to December 2025) aimed at enabling citizens to trace and claim their unclaimed financial assets such as bank deposits, insurance proceeds, mutual funds, dividends, shares, etc.

To facilitate efficient and faster settlement of unclaimed funds to beneficiaries and claimants, the camp was attended by S Nekhini, general manager (O-I-C), RBI, Kohima; Rorheu Peseyie, SDO (civil), Kohima; K Samuel, AGM, LDO, RBI, Kohima; Chitebuni Kricho, DDM, NABARD, Kohima; and Temsumeren, lead district manager, Kohima.
Eight banks, namely State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Central Bank of India, IDBI, Federal Bank, Axis Bank, Nagaland Rural Bank and Nagaland State Cooperative Bank, along with LIC from the insurance sector, participated in the camp.
From October 4 till date, 21 accounts have been settled, amounting to INR 18,74,656 under Kohima district, Nagaland.
