Dimapur, Nov. 25 (EMN): The second edition of C-Edge College’s event called “The Entrepreneur”, which was conceptualised with an aim to provide students a platform to experience the skills of business venturing, concluded earlier last week.
The college informed in an update made available to the media on Sunday that the programme started on November 14 and concluded on the 19th. ‘It was an intra-college event that focused on discovering and enhancing students’ entrepreneurial skills, leadership qualities, team-spirit and inter-personal abilities which will give them an opportunity to come up with their own business ideas and execute it,’ according to the press release.
A total of 10 teams consisting of five members each set up their business in and around Dimapur during the programme. After competing for a week, a business review consultation was taken up by the department of Management Studies to assess the performance of the teams.
Team Intimidators, an all-girls team – Boli Zhimomi, Viwotoli, Illino Zhimo, Hotoli and Lily Lotha (team leader) — from BA II, IV and VI semesters, was declared as winner of the competition during the 6th Fine Arts and Cultural Day programme on November 22. The update went on to say that Imnatemjen-led Team Caesar’s Kitchen comprising of Tempili, Khrisna, Apulo and Anjana of BBA VI semester won most Innovative team award.
