DIMAPUR — C-Edge College, Chümoukedima marked a significant milestone in its journey toward academic excellence and campus inclusivity with the multi-facility inauguration of its north block building including a new library and a dedicated daycare room on March 9.
An update from the college stated that the dedicatory event began with a formal programme at the Loggia Theatre Hall, which was presided over by Wapanginla Ao, acting principal and dean of Management Studies, while the welcome address was delivered by Daisy Shitio, dean of Humanities and Social Sciences.
It stated that the north block building was dedicated by Rev. Wati Longkumer, special assistant to the Area Director of American Baptist International Ministries, who also said the invocation for the new facilities.
It was followed by opening of the new library, which was inaugurated by Dr. Sunep Imchen, former director of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Government of Nagaland.

In a move to support the college’s welfare initiatives, a new daycare room was also inaugurated by Dr. Imomanen Tzudir, director of AH & Veterinary Services, Government of Nagaland.
During the felicitation, Moa Aier, president of C-Edge College, highlighted the institution's growth and vision, noting that it was a much awaited and needed facilities comprising of a more spacious library with a separate reading room, a daycare room for faculty staff.
It further stated that the new additions represent a major step forward in providing modern resources and a supportive environment for the entire C-Edge community.
