Dimapur, June 22 (EMN): The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of C-Edge College has conducted faculty development programme on June 22 in the college conference room.
An update received from the college authority informed that the workshop was conducted on the topic ‘intrapersonal and interpersonal relational skills’ – intrapersonal skills as in understanding self and interpersonal relational skills as in understanding students and the environment and how it can help in mentorship.
Resource person for the programme, who is also a counsellor of Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo (DABA), Dr. N Moa Imsong has stressed on the types of personality and how knowing oneself and others could help to maintain a good relationship. He also conducted a practical Myers-Briggs Test Indicator (MBTI), which is an introspective self- report questionnaire.
In the second session on interpersonal relational skills and how it could be connected and implemented with the mentorship programme, Imsong related the points based on the testimony of Christ which was unconditional acceptance, attentive listening, genuine appreciation, and caring confrontation.
During an interactive session during which case studies based on the participants’ experiences were discussed and deliberated. The programme concluded with the presentation of certificates.
