C-Edge College holds commencement day programme

DIMAPUR — C-Edge College bade farewell to BA and BBA VI semester students on the occasion of its 10th commencement day held at GK auditorium on April 25.

The event began with a prayer said by Niya Kath, EU advisor, while the college choir presented the college song ‘Believe in Him’ during entry procession of the graduating student and the pledge of allegiance was administered by Meyatemsu, head of English department.

The welcome address was delivered by the college principal, Dr. Chubatola Aier, and speech was delivered by the college president, Moa Aier, who captivated the audience with his insights on fostering a cutting-edge mindset among students.

The college awards ceremony was presided over by Wapanginla Ao, dean and head of Management Studies, who presented a plethora of accolades including the Laurel Award, Star Attendance Award, Best Attendance Award, Champion Star Award, Spear Award, NUVBC EU Student of the Year Award, Balakrishnan Ramanathan EVS Award and the newly inducted Best Library User Award.

The event also featured presentation by Zhovelu from BA II semester, showcasing the diverse talents nurtured at C-Edge College.

The Roll of Honour for the graduating class of 2024 was conducted by Daisy Shitio, dean of Social Science and Humanities, and concluded with closing remarks said by Seema Debnath, convener of the commencement day committee.

Meanwhile, the wished success to all the graduating students as they embark on new endeavours armed with knowledge and skills.
