National Postal Week 2022: Business meet held in Nagaland to mark postal week
Dimapur, Oct. 13 (EMN): As part of the National Postal Week 2022, a business meet was organised at Dimapur, which was graced by commissioner and secretary, Kekhrievor Kevichusa, as the special guest.
An update from the Postal department informed that postmaster general, NE-II Region, Som Kamei, has highlighted the various improved and new products under logistics and parcels, the trace and track facility and volume discounts for the book now pay later (BNPL) customers, new collaboration with railways such as joint parcel product, which would be launched shortly.
Kevichusa highlighted the importance of connecting the district through a logistic network and informed that the state government would come out with a logistic policy soon.
He also stated that India Posts, having the single largest network of post offices, could play an important role for connecting the logistic needs of the business community.
The business meet was attended by prominent business organisation like Business Association of Nagas (BAN), MSME, NGOs, Income tax, railways department and BNPL customers.
