Dimapur, March 2: Personnel of the Intanki National Park security are about it with their latest catch being a hunter, a pile of bush meat and a baby porcupine, which hopefully would find a home in the reserved forest. Authorities of the park issued updates on March 2 informing about enforcement activities in the area. On February 3, personnel of the Forest Protection Force of Intanki National Park ‘A’ range on routine patrolling apprehended one Haijieging of Beisumpuikam village ‘for illegally entering inside the National Park.’ The personnel seized a 12 bore gun from his possession, the authorities said. “The offender was released on bond while the bore gun was kept under the custody of Forest Protection Force at Protection camp for further necessary action,” the press release stated.
