Introducing Street Art in Kohima: A group of enthusiastic young people have recently started a novel project in the state capital- to make the best use of empty spaces and plain looming walls in the town- to share their vision for a better environment. Initiated by team Project 72Hrs, the Kohima Mural Art project is based on the theme ‘Environment’ and has a group of more than ten young artists working their magic with paints on Kohima’s roadsides along with the team. Seen in the picture is the group’s first artwork in the central area of the town, near Oking Hospital. This street art project is part of the third phase of Project 72Hrs, a community service undertaking by a group of youngsters, who has been creating ripples of change in the capital town for the past few months.
