Brother stabs sibling to death for exhausting mobile internet data
Dimapur, Nov. 21 (EMN): In a bizarre incident, a 23-year-old man allegedly stabbed his younger brother to death for exhausting his mobile internet data. The accident happened in Jodhpur Rajasthan, police said on Friday 20.
The accused stabbed his younger brother four-five times in his chest, who later died in hospital.
According to the police, the family members found the victim at the roof of the house on late Wednesday night bleeding profusely. They rushed him to the hospital where he was declared dead, a report from the PTI stated.
The accused had fled after stabbing his younger brother and was arrested from the railway station on Friday, according to the police.
“On Wednesday evening, Raman took his younger brother Roy to the roof of the house and scolded him for consuming his internet data. In a fit of rage, Raman stabbed Roy four to five times in his chest and fled,” police said.
According to a police official, the accused was mentally unstable.
