KOHIMA — The three-day Brillante Piano Festival began on Friday at Capital Cultural Hall featuring the semi-finals of western classical and jazz, mini-lecturers and talks, pre-show performances and an inaugural concert.
Started in 2017, the (Nagaland) Brillante Piano festival has now become a pan-India movement, involving artistes and musicians from across the globe.
The event will witness pedagogy sessions, piano ensemble, concerts, panel discussions with artistes, and competitions over the next two days.
Additionally, the SAM (Specially Abled Musicians) Program is being initiated in this edition to celebrate the efforts and spirit of musicians with special needs.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]Founder and director of Brillante Khyochano Tck earlier claimed the festival is a contributor to the music ecosystem in the country and is more than just a festival.
