Dimapur, Oct. 2 (EMN): To mark the conclusion of a year-long celebration of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Eco Club of Brighter Academy School, 7th Mile Model Village, Dimapur, joined the rest of the Eco Clubs across the country to observe the Swachhta Fortnight by organising several activities on October 1 and the 2nd.

The Swachh Bharat Mission was launched throughout the country on October 2, 2014. During the programme, students were divided into mini-groups for sweeping and mopping of rooms, picking of wrappers, waste bottles and other plastics, toilet cleaning and drainage cleaning.

It added that       necessary protocols such as wearing of face masks, proper hand-washing and sanitisation were followed during the course of the programme.
