Boys’ U-16 tournament: Niuland, Dimapur register wins

DIMAPUR — Niuland displayed dominance against Chümoukedima in the Boys’ Under-16 Inter-District Multi-Day Tournament held at St. Xavier College Ground in Jalukie Town.

An update from Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) informed that Niuland put up a formidable 155 runs for 10 wickets in their first inning, while Chümoukedima managed to score only 38 runs for 9 wickets.

In the second innings, Niuland scored 82 runs for 10 wickets, before Chümoukedima were bowled out for just 68 runs.

Niuland won by 131 runs.

In another match played at Kohima, Dimapur defeated Tseminyu by a massive 394 runs.

Tseminyu was bowled out for just 32 runs in the first innings, while Dimapur declared their inning after scoring 454 runs for 9 wickets. In the second innings, Tseminyu managed to score only 28 runs, thus conceding a humiliating defeat to their opponents.
