Bollywood Rock concert in aid of Rhino conservation

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]t a time when one horn rhino is killed by poachers almost every day there are people who have been working silently to save the pride of Assam. Between 2012 -2014, more than 60 rhinos have been hunted for their horns, skin and nails as they have very high demand in the Asian traditional medicine market. Although efforts have been made to conserve their declining population, there is still a long way to go.
To salute the brave hearts that have been working towards conservation of Rhinos, Tattva Creations, Sister concern of popular English magazine of the region Eclectic Northeast organized The Bollywood Rock Concert on 3rd January in Aid of Rhino Conservations.
Popular Bollywood singers Ash King and Jonita Gandhi along with Hindi-Rock band The Local Train from Delhi performed at the event.
The Rhino Conservational was felicitated in the event by Tanushree Hazarika, MD Eclectic Group; Bibha Hazarika, Director, Eclectic Group along with Dr Bibhab Talukdar, CEO Aranyak and Bharat Narah. The awardees received a cheque of Rs 20,000/- each raise from the ticket sales for the event.
