WOKHA — A joint search operation by the SDRF and NDRF to recover the body of a youth who drowned at Doyang on April 11 entered its second day on Monday but remained unsuccessful.
The operation was called off around 5 pm and will resume on April 14.
Sources said that the search began early on April 13 and continued through the day without yielding any results.
“Everything went the same as yesterday. It started around 7 am and closed around 5 pm. The operation will continue until further orders,” said Phuleshwar Lahon, Assistant Commandant of the 12 NDRF, engaged in the ongoing search at the Doyang Hydro Electric Project dam.
