BJYM Nagaland takes part in National Youth Parliament
A three-member delegation of the BJYM Nagaland attended the BJYM National Youth Parliament, which was held on March 19 at SRM University, Chennai.
The BJYM Nagaland delegation included BJYM state secretaries Bendangliba and Rajat Ghosh, and state executive member Laipha Konyak, stated an update from media cell, BJYM Nagaland.
The Youth parliament was inaugurated by BJP National President JP Nadda in presence of National General Secretary BJP, Tarun Chugh and National Youth President & MP Lok Sabha, Tejasvi Surya.
More than 300 young karyakartas from 34 States/UTs participated in undertaking research, articulating on key issues and understanding parliamentary procedures, it stated.
Discussions included various topics of national importance, including economic growth, skill development, tackling drug abuse and more.
The karyakartas expressed their ideas about India’s development and progress under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The BJYM Youth Parliament was spread over 3 sessions modelled on Indian Parliament: question hour, short duration discussion under Rule 194 and reply to motion of thanks on the president’s address, it added.
