BJYM enrolls 1 lakh new members in NE

BHARATIYA Janata Yuva Morcha North East States (BJYM NER) has crated a record of sort in the history of the party in North East with enrolment of 1,02,543 new members in just about 20 days. The enrolment of the new members began on July 15 this year. The projected target of enrolment of new members into the BJP youth wing in the region till August 15 is 2,09,000 members.This was disclosed during the release of ‘BJYM NER Report’ by Nagaland unit BJP president Dr M Chuba Ao and general secretary (Org) of Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh BJP Pranshant Arora here on Saturday.
M. Chuba Ao, in his speech, stated that every citizen of the nation wants the country to flourish and therefore, the responsibility of the BJP has increased. Also, stating that his party is working together for a common cause, he said the BJP is targeting to win 12 seats from the North East in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Hayithung Bill Lodha, convener, BJYM NER, proudly announced that the BJYM from all the north eastern states contributed more than Rs 1 lakh towards Uttarakhand flood relief.
The BJYM also organized a voluntary blood donation day on June 23, commemorating the death anniversary of BJP founder Dr. Syma Prasad Mookerjee. Altogether 112 young members of the wing donated blood on the day.
