BJP woos Wokha voters with development

Wokha, Jan. 16 (EMN): Co-convenor of BJP media cell Yanghose Sangtam has called upon the party workers to remain steadfast and not be swayed by propaganda advocated by other political parties saying the BJP stands for development of all.

Speaking at the booth level workers training for Niro range at Yanthamo village under 37 Tiyi assembly constituency, Yanghose said BJP is the largest political party in the world with one vision ‘Sabka sat Sapka vikas.’ He instilled upon the workers to steadfastly work toward achieving the vision of development into reality.

He also highlighted on the schemes and programmes under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has largely benefitted the rural community. He encouraged the party men to work harder and win in all the assembly constituencies in the district.

Convenor of booth level workers training, James Vizo reminded that BJP is the strongest political party in India and the largest political party in the world. Briefly highlighting the history of BJP in the state, he said the party came into existence through Pius Lotha in the year 1987 as the convener. He called upon the Lotha community to come forward as they are the pioneer of the party.

Vizo also informed that BJP is a cadre based political party which has its own code of conduct with proper protocol and discipline. He has also dismissed the claim of NPCC president K Therie wherein he has alleged that BJP no plan and interest for developing Nagaland. On the contrary, he said Congress had neglected the public during their 10 years rule in the state.

He called upon the community to ponder and make wise decision, adding that only BJP can bring about transformation and reformation in the state.

BJP intending candidate from 37 Tiyi A/C, Chubathung Odyuo also delivered short speech wherein he called upon the booth level party workers to wake up from their slumbers and serve the party to bring change in the state. While stating that different political parties have failed the state, he assured that BJP can only eradicate the problems in the state and translate their dream into reality.

M Aremo Tungoe and Oreno Kikon also spoke on the occasion. L Meribemo Kinghen, president BJP Wokha district, chaired the programme.

Earlier, the invocation was said by R Jomithung Humtsoe, pastor of Baptist Church Yanthamo, while the welcome address was delivered by vice president of 37 Yiyi AC, Chumchamo Kithan and the vote of thanks was delivered by Lumdemo Ngullie, general secretary of 37 Tiyi AC.
