DIMAPUR — The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) 21 Tuli Mandal organised a cleanliness drive on Tuesday as part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in celebration of the 79th Independence Day.
The programme was undertaken with the objective of fostering a sense of patriotism, civic responsibility, and community participation among the citizens, stated a press release.
As part of the initiative, party members and volunteers engaged in cleaning the premises of the Tuli ADC and SDO quarters as well as the GA Guest House at Tuli town.

It said that the activity not only aimed at maintaining cleanliness in important public offices but also symbolised the commitment of the BJP towards the ideals of the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and the vision of a cleaner, greener nation.
Speaking on the occasion, the mandal leaders expressed that the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign serves as a reminder for every citizen to honour the national flag and the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters. They further emphasised that such activities encourage unity, discipline, and dedication towards the progress of the nation.
The cleanliness drive concluded with the hoisting of the national flag and a pledge by all participants to continue contributing towards nation-building through active involvement in social and developmental activities.
