BJP Tseminyu Mandal clarifies

Dimapur, Nov. 15 (EMN): The BJP 12th Tseminyu Mandal unit has clarify news item appeared in local dailies on Nov. 14, in which the BJP Tseminyu Mandal was stated to have “mass joined” the NDPP along with other party workers under Kohima district. A press statement from president Shoyhunlo Kemp stated that six BJP workers belonging to Tesminyu sub division including one office bearer from BJP Tseminyu Mandal unit and two from BJP Kohima apex unit, two from BJP Yuva Kohima district and one from BJP Kisan Morcha Kohima district had left the party and joined the NDDP. “However, their defection is negligible and does not affect the party in the constituency,” the release stated. The BJP Tseminyu Mandal unit stands firm and united in the midst of obstacles and intends to continue strengthening the party position, the release added.
