Nagaland BJP office has issued directive to all party workers to sincerely work in their respective constituencies and districts and ensure victory of DAN candidate in the ensuing Lok Sabha election in the State. It notified that the decision to support DAN candidate has been directed by BJP central party leaders while it also cautioned failing to abide with directive would attract disciplinary action to the extent of expulsion from the party membership.
This was made known to the members during an emergency meeting of the State office bearers on March 24 at the party Head Office which was convened to streamline the election programmes and related assignment of the party organization.
Chaired by the state president Dr. M Chuba Ao, the party leaders have unanimously reiterated the party’s support to the candidature of the DAN consensus candidate Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister. It expressed confidence in his leadership to take the DAN to another victory and the state to further opportunities of development. For the purpose of election assignments, every BJP district presidents and general secretaries are directed to contact the convenors of DAN District Campaign Committee already set up in every district.
It is also hereby reminded to all the BJP State leaders, district presidents and general secretaries to attend the BJP State executive meeting on March 26 at BookMarc conference hall, Bank Colony, Dimapur, at 2 pm without fail.
