Dimapur, May 19 (EMN): Responding to the call of the Indian Prime Minister for a Seva Hi Sanghathan Abhiyan (Service is an organisation mission), the ST Morcha of BJP Mokokchung district undertook a ‘one-time meal’ distribution to the frontline workers especially the security forces enforcing the lockdown in the district.

“This is just a small gesture to say thank you to all the frontline workers who are battling this dreaded virus for the past more than a year,” said Oyimpong Longchar, president of the BJP Mokokchung ST morcha, while interacting with the SDO (C) Temsuchuba in his office chambers.

Longchar also expressed his gratitude to the ST Nagaland state president Wanphong Konyak and the BJP Nagaland state president Temjen Imna Along Longkumer for understanding the efforts, dedication, and the call for solidarity with the frontline workers.

Oyimpong further assured all help to the frontline workers now and in the future.

It mentioned that the BJP Mokokchung ST morcha prepared a meal for the security forces – the Nagaland police, traffic, the IRB personnel and Dobashis – manning the vintage points in and around Mokokchung town.

The BJP team also visited the AKM (Ao Kaketshir Mungdang) office and expressed words of appreciation to the students’ body for their yeomen service in the fight against the pandemic.
