Dimapur, Nov. 18 (EMN): Expounding that prevalence of peaceful atmosphere is the key towards ushering development, BJP national general secretary (Org), Ram Lal said the BJP led NDA government under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seriously working for early and lasting solution to the Naga political issue.

Ram Lal is in Nagaland on a three-day tour from November 17-19. The party is gearing up for the assembly elections scheduled to take place next year in Nagaland and his visit was viewed as a wake-up call for the party leaders and workers.

On November 17, Ramlal held series of meetings with various BJP State level cells and department conveners and co-conveners, two booth level committees, business community and senior party members in Dimapur.

Addressing the State office bearers, core committee members and all State frontal presidents and secretaries at its head office in Kohima, he stated that the present NDA government under the Prime Minister Narender Modi has undertaken various innovative steps and measures for the welfare of the poor, oppressed, and unprivileged section of people for the development and to make the nation to a “new India”.

He asserted that BJP’s top priority under the PM is to deliver development and good governance to the people. He has rubbished the rivals that BJP is against minority (tribal) or against any religion/ Christian. He stated that all the rumours were made to tarnish the good image of Modi and the party-BJP.

Later in the evening at Japfu Hotel, an intensive meeting was held with the BJP legislators, whereby strategies were evolved and also reviewed the feedback on the government and organisation.
